Classic (Peg) Solitaire

How to play:  Your aim is to clear the board by jumping pegs over other pegs. leaving just one peg (preferably with this peg in the centre hole). Each "jumped" peg will be removed from the board. To move, click on any peg that can jump over another peg into an empty space. If you have a choice, the possible jumps are shown by red crosses. Click on the hole marked with a cross where you want to jump to.
History:  Solitaire first appeared in France in the late 17th century. In the United States it became known as ‘Peg Solitaire’ to avoid confusion with the card game or ‘Hi-Q’ after a trademarked version of the puzzle. In India, it is known as ‘Brainvita’ and in Switzerland ‘Amdener Tubbeli Spiel’. More History
